UP CM directs nodal officers to ensure implementation of dengue prevention measures

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took a meeting of health department officials at his residence at Panch Kalidas Marg on Saturday morning regarding dengue, which was spreading rapidly in the state. The Chief Minister has directed the nodal officers to visit the field again to see the arrangements for prevention of dengue.

He said that surveillance activities should be increased in the affected areas. All the municipal corporations and local bodies of the state should pay special attention to cleanliness. Run special campaign on fogging, anti larva spray. Chief Minister Yogi directed that the availability of doctors and medicines should be ensured in mission mode. The patient who reaches the hospital should get the necessary treatment at all costs.

The Chief Minister has instructed to work continuously in mission mode regarding other communicable diseases including dengue. Earlier also, on October 26, the Chief Minister had directed the Health Department officials to take extra precautions regarding dengue. Along with this, orders were given to ensure beds, medicines and other essential facilities including making isolation wards in each district hospital. The Chief Minister has also appealed to the common citizens of the state to be fully vigilant about communicable diseases and take adequate precautions.
