‘Ayodhya Divine Heritage Trail’ Tour Package for Pilgrims and Tourists
The initiative is aimed at making it easier for visitors to cover important destinations in the temple town without having to plan separate travel arrangements for each location. A guided tour is also expected to provide visitors with a more structured experience of Ayodhya’s religious heritage.
Ayodhya holds immense religious significance for devotees of Lord Ram and attracts pilgrims from different parts of India and abroad. The city is home to several temples, sacred ghats and other sites associated with its religious and cultural traditions.
With the growing interest in Ayodhya as a religious tourism destination, organised travel facilities can help visitors manage their time and explore key locations more conveniently. The new package seeks to bring several important attractions together through a single-day guided tour.
According to the Uttar Pradesh government, the initiative is part of efforts to improve the overall experience of pilgrims and tourists visiting the city. It also aims to promote Ayodhya’s spiritual and cultural heritage through organised tourism services.
The launch of the ‘Ayodhya Divine Heritage Trail’ reflects the state’s broader focus on developing religious tourism and improving visitor facilities at important pilgrimage destinations. The government expects such initiatives to make travel more accessible while highlighting Ayodhya’s historical and spiritual importance.
