UP CM Yogi Adityanath holds review meeting of development projects

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath (Yogi Adityanath) on Saturday gave strict instructions to the officials that under no circumstances should any work contract be given to a criminal or a person with a mafia image. The Chief Minister, who arrived here on Saturday, fixed the responsibility and accountability of the officers while holding a review meeting of development works and law and order in the auditorium of Circuit House.

According to an official statement, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, while reviewing the ongoing development projects in the city, directed the concerned departmental officers to complete the work with quality within the stipulated time by campaigning on a war footing. According to the statement, along with this, CM Yogi has also given strict instructions to the officials to take care that no criminal or person of mafia image can get any kind of contract under any circumstances.

Instructions given to officers

The Chief Minister directed the officials to facilitate and strengthen the city’s traffic system during the G-20 meeting to be held in Varanasi from June 11 to 13. Referring to the security lapses in the Kashi Vishwanath temple in the past, he ordered for security arrangements and chalking.

During the review meeting, Varanasi Divisional Commissioner Kaushal Raj Sharma said that at present work is going on in the city on a total of 61 projects of the Center and the State, whose total cost is Rs 10,305 crore. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also visited Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Kaal Bhairav Temple.

CM Yogi was on a tour of Varanasi on Saturday. During this, he addressed the closing ceremony of the third “Khelo India University Games” in the campus of Kashi Hindu University Indian Institute of Technology. It was organized from May 25 to June 3 in four cities of the state.
