UP News: Man Arrested Over WhatsApp Comment On Yogi Adityanath

The WhatsApp group admin has been arrested by the Bhadohi police on Sunday for allegedly making indecent remarks against Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath. It is being told that a comment using 'indecent' language against Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was made on a fake WhatsApp group created by the name 'Bhadohi Nagar Palika Parishad', which went viral on social media.

Bhadohi's Kotwali police station in-charge Ajay Kumar Seth told that on August 4, a complaint was received in this regard through Twitter. After which the police obtained the screenshot of the derogatory comment.

Based on the complaint, a case was registered against the group's admin Shahabuddin Ansari and the person who posted the post, Muslim Ansari, under various sections of the IPC, the IT Act and the Criminal Law Amendment Act.

One arrested, one absconding

Police said that one of the accused was arrested on Sunday. Who has been identified as Shahabuddin Ansari, while the person who posted the comment has been identified as Muslim Ansari, who is still absconding. Whose search is on.

It is being told that the WhatsApp group created by the name 'Bhadohi Nagar Palika Parishad' is not the official group of the municipality. However, all the councilors of the city are also involved in this.
