Meteorologists predict a change in weather in Uttar Pradesh with the likelihood of rain and a drop in temperature due to the impact of a Western Disturbance. The state experienced a maximum temperature of around 28.1 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 12 degrees Celsius on Thursday. Meteorologist Atul Kumar Singh forecasts a two-degree increase in temperature from November 24 to 27, with rain expected in Western Uttar Pradesh on November 27. The subsequent drop in mercury is anticipated to bring colder weather to Lucknow and surrounding areas. The average Air Quality Index (AQI) in the capital reached 276, indicating deteriorating air quality.

Political parties in Uttar Pradesh are actively participating in the ongoing voter list revision campaign, gearing up for the Lok Sabha elections. The Election Commission’s initiative involves special camps on November 25-26 and December 2-3, with the final publication of the voter list scheduled for January 5. The BJP, SP, Congress, RLD, and BSP are intensifying their efforts to increase voter participation. BJP has set a target of adding 100 voters at each booth and 20,000 voters in each assembly constituency. Political parties are mobilizing their workers and supporters to ensure the names of potential voters are added to the list, engaging in voter awareness campaigns and collaborating with youth organizations and educational institutions.
