UP Police Clashes With Uttarakhand Locals During Raid

Villagers attacked the police team that went to catch the prize crook in Thakurdwara police station area of ​​Uttarakhand. In this attack, 5 SOG personnel were injured and a woman died. The condition of three of the five jawans is critical. The injured jawans have been rescued from the clutches of the attackers and admitted to a private hospital in Moradabad. After this incident, along with DIG Moradabad and SSP Moradabad, the force across the district has reached the Uttarakhand border of Thakurdwara Kotwali area.

Uttarakhand Police said that people started protesting after the death of the woman in the violence between villagers and police in Bharatpur village of Udham Singh Nagar. On the other hand, according to Moradabad Police DIG Shalabh Mathur, "There is a reward of Rs 50,000 on the accused. When we reached Bharatpur village, our team was taken hostage and their weapons were snatched." He also confirmed that one woman was killed and five jawans were injured.

DIG Shalabh Mathur said that recently in Thakurdwara police station area, a case was registered in the case of mining mafia attacking the mining department team and taking their vehicle and assaulting the SDM team. 13 people have been arrested in this whole case. At the same time, Uttarakhand Police said that after the death of the woman in the violence between the villagers and the police, people started protesting. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had taken cognizance of the incident, after which the police had gathered in search of the named accused.
