UP Police: On Wednesday, the Uttar Pradesh police took the internet by storm with their rendition of the Golden Globe-winning song "Naatu Naatu" from the blockbuster movie RRR. The song's lyrics were utilised by the police to raise awareness of driving safety, and they quickly gained popularity on Twitter.

UP Police gets along the trend

The film's name was changed to "Respect the Red light on the Road" while thanking "RRRcreators "'s on winning Best Original Song. UP Police tweeted, "The nominations for Golden Glob(al) rules of Road Safety: #Naatu, Kabhi red light skip kare; #Naatu, Kabhi tripling kare; #Naatu, Kabhi drunken driving kare; #Naatu, Kabhi traffic rules tode"

It approximately translates to "one should not run a red light," "one should not ride a bike with two back riders," "one should not drive drunk," and "one should not breach the law."

Over 71,300 people have seen the tweet as of now, and 1,125 of them have liked it. In the category of "best original song-motion picture," "Naatu Naatu," the irrepressible, upbeat song from the hit movie "RRR," triumphed against artists like Taylor Swift, Rihanna, and Lady Gaga.

The singer of "Naatu Naatu," Rahul Sipligunj, commended the Uttar Pradesh police for utilising the song to promote road safety.

Additional SP Rahul Srivastava, who oversees the Uttar Pradesh Police's social media centre, stated, "Naatu Naatu was taken by us for public awareness. We have been using popular Bollywood songs to create awareness among people about traffic rules, rule of law, women's safety and other similar issues. Trending topics (on social media) are used as they have an immediate connection with the public."
