The Yogi government has approved the topographical survey of PM Mitra Mega Textile and Apparel Park to be built in Attari village of Mall block of Malihabad, capital. Its responsibility has been entrusted to the Uttar Pradesh Small Industries Corporation Limited (UPSIC). Along with this, the District Magistrate of Lucknow and Hardoi has set up a team of Revenue Department for topographic survey and measurement of land of Textile Park. It may be known that the Textile and Apparel Park is to be built in one thousand acres, of which 903.07 acres of land falls in Lucknow district while 259.09 acres of land falls in Hardoi district.
Survey will be completed in 20 days
It has started as soon as the green signal is received from the government level for the survey of Mega Textile and Apparel Park. Revenue teams of UPSIC and DM Lucknow and Hardoi will submit their survey report to the government in 20 days. At the same time, the draft prepared for the Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) constituted for the implementation of the Textile Park has been sent to the Textile Ministry of the Government of India for approval. 10.00 crore (paid up capital) has been arranged for this, in which 51 percent share will be from Uttar Pradesh Government and 49 percent share will be from Government of India. The park will be developed on PPP mode. Simultaneously, the work related to Master Plan, Project Estimate and Bidding Documents (RFQ, RFP and Development Agreement) is in progress. At the same time, documents related to the draft bid have been prepared for the selection of the master developer of the park, while the documents related to the draft bid of the Government of India will be released on June 20. The firm related to this will have to submit its proposal by June 24. It may be known that Rs 1,200 crore will be spent on the construction of the textile park.
The government is also serious about the environment
Special attention is also being given to the environment regarding the operation of the textile park. An agency will be selected to prepare a report related to the impact on the environment due to the setting up of the industry. RFP has been prepared for selection of agency. Soon the bid will be published seeking applications related to it. At the same time, a 4-lane road will also be constructed to connect the park with the infrastructure. Along with this, coordination is being established with the concerned departments for dedicated supply of water and electricity. It may be known that a total of 73 investment proposals were received for Textile and Apparel Park in UPGIS-23, in which investors have proposed to invest Rs 2483.85 crore.
