As the much-anticipated inauguration of the ‘Ram Mandir’ in Ayodhya approaches, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has issued directives for all educational institutions in the state to observe a holiday on January 22. This decision aligns with the scheduled ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony, which marks the consecration of the new idol of Ram Lalla at the Ram Temple.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is slated to officiate the Pran Pratishtha ceremony, which holds immense significance in the construction and consecration of the Ram Temple. In addition to declaring a holiday for educational institutions, CM Yogi Adityanath has also announced the closure of liquor shops across the state on the same day.
Educational Institutions to Close on January 22 in Commemoration of Ram Mandir Inauguration
The Pran Pratishtha ceremony, a pivotal event in the Ram Temple project, is set for January 22. Prime Minister Modi has previously urged people to illuminate a ‘Shri Ram Jyoti’ in their homes and celebrate a symbolic Deepavali on this date to mark the auspicious occasion. The ceremony is scheduled during the Sanjeevani Yoga, with the Pran Pratishtha taking place in the highly auspicious Abhijeet Muhurat from 12:20 PM to 12:30 PM. Following the installation, PM Narendra Modi will conduct the inaugural Aarti for Lord Shri Ram, symbolizing the formal commencement of religious activities at the newly constructed temple.
