The Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath government has announced the inauguration and foundation-laying of 107 development projects worth more than ₹311 crore in the Dumariyaganj and Bansi Assembly constituencies of Siddharthnagar district.
According to the Uttar Pradesh government, the projects are being undertaken under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, with a focus on expanding infrastructure and improving public facilities across the state.
The government said the initiatives are aimed at ensuring that the benefits of welfare schemes reach people at the grassroots level while strengthening the distinctive identity and development potential of individual districts.
CM Yogi Adityanath: ₹311 Crore Projects to Boost Siddharthnagar Development
The 107 projects in Siddharthnagar are expected to contribute to the expansion of basic infrastructure, improvement of public amenities and faster development in the region.
The government said the projects will help make Siddharthnagar more equipped with essential facilities and support its progress towards greater self-reliance and development.
The district, known for its association with Gautam Buddha, is being positioned by the state government as an important centre for development and public welfare.
Welfare Scheme Beneficiaries to Receive Certificates
As part of the programme, beneficiaries of various government welfare schemes will also be given certificates. The initiative is intended to highlight the delivery of welfare benefits to eligible residents.
The Uttar Pradesh government said its development agenda places villages, the poor, farmers, youth and ordinary citizens at the centre of its policies.
Event Scheduled in Bansi
The development programme is scheduled to take place on August 9, 2026, at 3:00 PM at Raja Ratan Sen Inter College in Bansi, Siddharthnagar.
The announcement comes amid the state government’s continued emphasis on infrastructure development and welfare delivery under what it describes as the “double-engine government” of the BJP-led administrations at the Centre and in Uttar Pradesh.
