The Uttar Pradesh government is set to launch the Uttar Pradesh Outsource Services Corporation (UPCOS) on Wednesday, September 2, with an aim to bring the human resource management of outsourced employees onto a unified digital platform.

The launch event will take place at the Lok Bhavan Auditorium in Lucknow at 11 am. Along with the launch of UPCOS, the government will also unveil the UPCOS portal and website, as well as the corporation’s official logo.
UPCOS for Digital Management of Outsourced Employees
According to the Uttar Pradesh government, the initiative is focused on ensuring greater security, dignity and welfare of outsourced employees working across various government establishments.
Under UPCOS, the human resource management of outsourced personnel will be digitally integrated. The system is intended to make processes related to outsourced employees more streamlined and transparent.
The proposed digital framework will cover the process from recruitment to payment, bringing different stages of outsourced human resource management onto a common platform.
The government said the initiative is being undertaken under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, with a focus on strengthening arrangements for outsourced personnel in the state.
The creation of UPCOS is expected to establish a more organised digital mechanism for managing outsourced human resources. By connecting the process to a digital platform, the government aims to improve transparency and simplify administrative procedures.
The initiative is also being presented as a step towards providing outsourced workers with greater recognition and a more structured system for human resource management.
