Launch of ‘One District, One Cuisine’ and Sardar Patel Industrial Area Scheme
During the ceremony, Amit Shah formally launched the ‘One District, One Cuisine’ scheme, aimed at promoting regional food heritage and boosting local employment and tourism. The initiative seeks to give national recognition to traditional cuisines from different districts of Uttar Pradesh.
The Union Minister also inaugurated the ‘Sardar Patel Industrial Area’ scheme, which is expected to strengthen industrial infrastructure, attract investment and generate employment opportunities across the state.
Recognition of Youth Entrepreneurship and Innovation
The programme also featured the felicitation of five districts that delivered outstanding performance under the CM YUVA (Chief Minister Youth Entrepreneur Development Campaign). The scheme focuses on encouraging entrepreneurship among young people by providing financial and institutional support.
In addition, individuals who have contributed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a ‘Developed India’ through innovation, research and dedicated efforts were honoured with the prestigious ‘Uttar Pradesh Gaurav Samman 2025–26’.

Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath highlighted Uttar Pradesh’s cultural heritage, economic potential and role in national development. He said that Uttar Pradesh Day is an opportunity to reflect on the state’s achievements while renewing the commitment to inclusive growth and good governance.
Yogi Adityanath also welcomed Amit Shah to the state and expressed gratitude for his continued support in strengthening Uttar Pradesh’s development initiatives.
