Bride allegedely dared him to kiss on the stage

Sources said that prior to the ceremony, the bride had challenged the groom to kiss her in public. The bride would give the groom Rs. 1,500 if he succeeded in kissing her on stage, while the groom would give her Rs. 3,000 if he failed.

The bride allegedly made the deal, but when the groom’s side brought it up at the police station, the bride denied.

The marriage registration now cannot be cancelled because the chief minister officiated their wedding, despite the fact that the two parties have now reached an agreement to be separated. To formally cancel their marriage, the couple would now need to present their case before a judge.
