Viral Video: Another fight between Noida Residents' and Guard; Hair pulled and blows exchanged for THIS reason

Viral Video: An argument between two groups of tenants at an apartment complex in Noida Friday night escalated into a virtual free-for-all with loud fistfights and hair-pulling that was captured on camera.

The argument began over a residents' body election at the Hyde Park Society in Sector 78. It quickly got out of hand as security officers were accused of influencing polls and assisting one of the groups. The police's arrival put a stop to the fight.

In widely circulated footage, a resident can be seen hitting at least two other guards and yanking a female guard by her hair. Two female residents said the guards attacked them, injuring them. A video showed several guards warning citizens and waving sticks, but the fighting continued.

"The guards came all of a sudden and started beating us with sticks. We had gathered here for the general body meeting, but they switched off the lights to prevent us from holding the meeting. Then they took out rods from the fencing and attacked us," said a woman resident, showing her injured hand.

A person could be heard yelling, "Won't allow gundagardi by guards in Hyde Park," as another woman with a swollen hand was spotted. According to neighbours, the cops arrived and took control of the situation. In response to the women's accusations, two guards were detained.

According to police officer Sharad Kant Sharma, the conflict between the opposing parties, led by locals Pushpendra and Dinesh Negi, has been going on for a while. To find the culprit, the police are examining security camera video from the facility. After the preliminary investigation is complete, a case will be filed, according to police.
