Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday participated in the Pran Pratishtha rituals of the Ram Darbar at the revered Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya. The sacred ceremony marks a significant spiritual and cultural milestone in the ongoing development of the grand temple dedicated to Lord Ram.

Dressed in traditional attire, CM Yogi offered prayers and participated in the Vedic rituals under the guidance of senior saints and temple priests. The rituals were held in the sanctum sanctorum, where idols of Lord Ram, Sita, Lakshman, and Hanuman were consecrated.

The Chief Minister called the moment “deeply spiritual and historic,” reiterating his government’s unwavering commitment to restoring Ayodhya’s cultural heritage. “Ram Lalla has finally found His rightful home. This is not just a temple; it’s a symbol of national pride and spiritual awakening,” Yogi Adityanath said.

The Pran Pratishtha ceremony comes months after the grand inauguration of the Ram Mandir by Prime Minister Narendra Modi earlier this year, drawing millions of devotees and spiritual leaders from across the country.

Heavy Security Deployed 

Heavy security was deployed across Ayodhya for the occasion, and elaborate arrangements were made for visiting saints, devotees, and dignitaries. The event also saw participation from prominent figures in the religious and political spectrum.

Temple authorities stated that with the completion of the Pran Pratishtha, daily worship will now follow traditional Sanatan rituals. The Ram Darbar has been placed in the main sanctum with detailed carvings and a majestic backdrop designed in accordance with ancient temple architecture.

The Ram Janmabhoomi site continues to be a center of devotion and national interest, with ongoing construction and beautification work progressing rapidly.
