Viral News: Dowry Mishap! Groom Test Drives His Newly 'Acquired' Car Killing His Aunt In A Wierd Accident

Viral News: In a horrifying incident that occurred in the Etawah district of Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday night at a wedding ceremony has shocked everyone. As per the reports, the bridegroom ran over his aunt with a car that had been given to him by the bride's family.

The event happened in the village of Akbarpur, when the 24-year-old groom killed the woman by crushing her to death. Arun Kumar, a Provincial Arms Constabulary (PAC) jawan in the Fatehpur area, has been named as the accused groom.

Arun was set to marry a girl from Auraiya. After the "tilak" ceremony, the girl's family gave him a car, as per the reports. Sources cite that, Arun never learned how to drive and continued with the car to give it a test drive.

The groom then accelerated the vehicle, ramming into his family members, killing his aunt Sarla Devi and badly wounding four others in the process. A girl, age 10, is one among those hurt. Currently, the suspect is in police custody.

Ranvijay Singh, Ekdil police station in-charge “As and when we receive a complaint, we will file charges against the accused for rash and negligent driving and other offences.”
