Viral video: Tamil Nadu Minister pelts stone at workers over THIS reason, netizens are shocked

Viral video: Tamil Nadu Minister SM Nasar pelted stones at Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) workers in Tiruvallur for the delay in bringing the chair. The video of the incident is going viral on social media. SM Nasar is the milk and dairy development minister of the state.

Nasr was in headlines last year by spreading misinformation

Last year, SM Nasar made headlines for allegedly spreading misinformation that the central government has imposed Goods and Services Tax (GST) on milk. Explain that during a press conference on November 4, 2022, the DMK minister was speaking regarding the increase in the prices of milk in the state-owned Aavin.

He had said that "The procurement price of cow milk has been increased from Rs 32 to Rs 35, while that of buffalo milk has been increased from Rs 41 to Rs 44. Aavin's full cream milk price increased by Rs 12 to Rs 60. has been done."

Central government imposed GST on milk-SM Nasar

The DMK minister said, "The central government has imposed GST on milk as well. This is an unprecedented event. The selling price of milk has increased as a result of imposition of GST on milk. Tamil Nadu BJP president K Annamalai criticized the DMK minister for his ignorance about keeping milk out of GST."
