Viral Video: The unfortunate case of Faridabad Class 12 student Aryan Mishra raised serious questions about vigilantism and the misuse of power in the garb of cow protection. Faridabad‘s ACP Crime, Aman Yadav, had to clarify that the death of Aryan is not related to any valid cow protection activity, and police are actively investigating the motives behind his killing. The ASI was shot twice, and as of now, five arrests have been made in connection with the crime.
Innocent Student Mistaken for Cow Smuggler
Aryan Mishra’s father Siyanand Mishra has come forward in a deeply aggrieved and angry mood. He even asked for the authority on the basis of which these persons acted and said, “Who gives the right to shoot somebody on suspicion of cow smuggling? Has the Modi government given the right to shoot? If so, why?” He maintained that his son Aryan was an innocent student and did not run any network of smuggling. He said the family, being Pandits and new in this area, had no known feud or rivalry with anybody.
Seeking the Truth Behind Aryan’s Killing
The incident took place in the wee hours of August 23rd when Aryan was driving along with his friends through Faridabad. The five accused, Saurabh, Anil Kaushik, Varun, Krishna, and Adesh, chased Aryan’s car, mistakenly identifying him as a cow smuggler. After Aryan and others did not stop, the firing by the accused led to the tragic death of Aryan due to gunshot injuries.
The incident has thus caused outrage, and the dangers of vigilantism have been brought into sharp focus. As police continue to investigate the true motive behind Aryan Mishra’s killing, his family and the public demand justice as the case unfolds.
