Delhi-Dehradun Expressway: Four major projects are being worked on to directly connect Delhi to other cities via Expressway; the Delhi-Dehradun Expressway project is currently being worked on according to schedule. The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) also agreed that the first phase's construction will be finished by March 2024 during the review conference.
How the Delhi-Dehradun Expressway Benefits East Delhi and Ghaziabad
Additionally, this will ease traffic congestion in East Delhi and the northern region of Ghaziabad (Loni). Additionally, one can travel directly on the motorway via Akshardham and arrive at Khekra in Baghpat to access the Eastern Peripheral Expressway. The motorway between Delhi and Dehradun won't be finished until March 2025, but two 32 km long packages will be available by then.

Currently, full-scale construction is taking place on a stretch of the Delhi border that is about 15 and a half kilometres long and a stretch of the Ghaziabad and Baghpat border that is about 16 and a half kilometres long. The building of projects like motorways frequently comes to a standstill during the winter due to the increase in pollution. The job is currently progressing quickly as a result of this.
Delhi-Dehradun Motorway Navigates Pollution and Construction Expressway
According to NHAI officials, we are moving quickly while thinking about pollution. The Expressway can be prepared in accordance with the aim even if the work is delayed for about a month in between. The task of installing girders on the pillars has practically been finished in both phases. Currently, work is being done to construct a slab to sit atop the girder.
