Amazon: Amazon has recently announced “AI Ready” which is a new initiative to help around 2 Million people get trained and learn AI skills by 2025. The e-commerce giant has launched eight new courses for people to upskill themselves in AI and Generative AI Skills under the initiative. The company has also announced an Amazon Web Services Generative AI Scholarship program in collaboration with an online learning platform. Amazon has also joined hands with code.org to help students learn Generative AI skills.
Amazon AI Ready
Swami Sivasubramanian, vice president of Data and AI at AWS said “Amazon is launching AI Ready to help those with a desire to learn about AI and benefit from the tremendous opportunity ahead. The following initiatives are designed to open opportunities to those in the workforce today as well as the future generation.”
E-commerce Giant’s Goal
Amazon aims to provide students of all backgrounds access to the knowledge and skills they require to succeed in the age of artificial intelligence. The company will provide free courses, learning opportunities and workshops to help interested people get a deep knowledge of AI and Generative AI. These courses will also offer knowledge about how to solve actual problems with the help of AI.
