Amazon Rufus: Amazon has announced Rufus, an AI-powered shopping assistant, as its newest artificial intelligence tool in an effort to improve the shopping experience for its customers. With the introduction of a conversational and personalised shopping companion, the e-commerce behemoth hopes to completely transform how customers engage with its site.

Customers can use Rufus to have natural conversations by speaking or entering queries into the search field of the Amazon app. After that, a chat box will appear with tailored responses and suggestions. Customers can inquire about comparisons by asking, Rufus will explain the main differences using information from customer reviews, Amazon’s vast product inventory, and other sources.
According to Amazon, Rufus will become more intelligent as more people use it. It appears that the assistant will improve its knowledge base by learning from consumer inquiries. Rufus also offers deeper product research assistance to customers. For example, it can describe general things to keep in mind while buying headphones, automobile detailing equipment, or clean beauty items.
Availability details
Due to ongoing beta testing, Rufus is currently only accessible to a limited number of US consumers. In the upcoming weeks, however, Amazon plans to broaden access as it gets input.
