Apple iPhone 15: Apple is all set to expand it product lineup with the launch on the Apple iPhone 15 series. The smartphone series is expected to launch globally on September 12. Various rumours have been seen online regarding the date of the launch event. A new report from a well-reputed tipster has made things clearer.

Bloomberg's popular tech enthusiast Mark Gurman had anticipated that Apple would launch on September 12 or 13. However, in the most recent report, he revealed that the sources are leaning towards a September 12 launch date.

In this article, we have provided details of what we expect from the Apple iPhone 15 series and the Watch series 9.

Apple iPhone 15: All we expect

  • The iPhone 15 and 15 Plus will very certainly be powered by the A16 Bionic chip from last year. The iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max, on the other hand, will be the first to receive the new A17 Bionic chip.
  • The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will most certainly retain 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage options.
  • The Pro model could come with 256GB, 512GB, 1TB and 2TB storage options.
  • Apple is also likely to use USB-C for the iPhone 15 series, which will deliver not only universal charging but also higher speeds
  • Midnight (black), Starlight (white), (Product)RED, and two new colours - light blue and light pink - could be among the colour options.
  • The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will be equipped with a 48MP primary camera and a 12MP ultra-wide angle lens. A 48MP primary camera, a 12MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 12MP telephoto lens will also be included in the iPhone 15 Pro.

Apple Watch Series 9: All we expect

  • The Apple Watch Series 9 will come with WatchOS 10.
  • The Watch will come in two sizes, 45mm and 41mm.
  • A new chip could be used, we do not expect it to be a major upgrade from the outgoing S8 chip.
