Apple iPhone 16: According to reports, Apple is working on a new feature for the next iPhone 16. A rumour claims that prototypes of the device might have a dedicated button to make taking fast pictures and videos while holding the phone horizontally easier.
Apple iPhone 16 to come with a dedicated camera button
There are rumours that the iPhone 16 series will include a separate capture button. According to a recent story published by The Information, gesture controls will be included with the capture button. Therefore, users will be able to do certain motions to initiate actions, such as swiping left and right to zoom in and out.
It is also stated that this capture button is mechanical rather than solid-state, however it still reacts to touch and pressure. The article also recommended pressing slightly to focus on a picture and firmly pressing to activate the shutter, among other actions. It has been rumoured that Apple intends to include the capture button on every iPhone 16 model.
Expected launch date
Though these improvements might not make it into the final product, there is still a long way to go until the Apple iPhone 16 is introduced, which is likely to happen in September of this year.
