Apple Swift Student Challenge: In February 2024, Apple will host its annual Swift Student Challenge, a chance for kids to demonstrate their coding prowess and inventiveness. Since 2020, it has brought students from all over the world together to use Swift—a professional programming language—to develop creative apps. Read on to learn more.
Apple Swift Student Challenge 2024
In order to complete the challenge, students must use the Swift Playgrounds app to create an original code project. Ever since the challenge began in 2020, students who took part have been part of a global developer community that uses Swift to make the next generation of innovative apps.
Susan Prescott, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Developer Relations and Education & Enterprise Marketing, said, “Apple is releasing new coding resources for students and educators, working with our community partners on dedicated Swift programming, and sharing advance notice of the Swift Student Challenge timeline for 2024.”
Out of the 350 total winners, the business announced that 50 winners will receive an invitation to visit Apple’s Cupertino, California, headquarters the following summer, where they will have the chance to network with the Apple team and one another.
The Apple Developer Programme, which allows developers to submit products to the App Store and get help from Apple, will grant all winners a one-year membership.

Those who are interested in participating can register on Apple’s developer site, and they will receive proper notification when the challenge opens.
