ROG Phone 8 Series India Launch: Asus is all set to launch its much-awaited ROG Phone 8 series in the forthcoming Consumer Electronic Show 2024. The device will be globally launched on January 8 at the CES 2024. The company has also confirmed that the ROG Phone 8 series will also make its Indian debut on the same day.
The ROG Phone 8 series will be launched in the Chinese market on January 16. Talking about the rivals, the Phone 8 series will be the straight rival to the recently launched Red Magic 9 Pro. Curious to know more about the smartphone, check all the expected specs below.
ROG Phone 8 Pro Expected Specs
The ROG Phone 8 series is expected to feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display supporting Full HD+ resolution and a high refresh rate of 120 Hz that ensures smooth gaming performance for gaming enthusiasts. As far as the power is concerned, the device is expected to boast a powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and this powerhouse will be coupled with up to 24GB RAM and 1TB of internal storage.
ROG Phone 8 Pro Camera Specs
Camera specs of the smartphone will reportedly include a Sony IMX890 50MP primary sensor, 13MP ultrawide sensor and a 32MP telephoto lens. In the front, the ROG Phone 8 Pro is expected to feature a 32MP camera for video calls and selfies. All this will be powered by a massive 5500 mAhROG battery supporting 65-watt fast charging.
ROG Phone 8 Pro Additional Features
The device will also get an in-display fingerprint sensor for enhanced security. Additional features of the device include a 5-magnet speaker system and a valuable 3.5 mm audio jack. In terms of connectivity, the device will get Bluetooth 5.3 and WiFi 6E. The ROG Phone is tipped to get Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection and an IP68 rating for smartphone protection.
