LG's Smart Home AI Agent

On Monday, LG Electronics unveiled many new items that capitalise on the idea of synchronising several AI-ready technologies. The business defined the Smart Home AI Agent, which was first unveiled in December, as a robotic, artificial intelligence, and multi-mode tool for the smart home. It can move, learn, comprehend, and carry on sophisticated conversations.

The company's smart appliances, which include refrigerators, ovens, and washers/dryers, are connected to LG's ThinQ smart home platform, which is how the AI assistant functions. Thanks to its ability to recognise faces and users, the robot can respond and communicate with each member of the household individually. It uses machine learning to identify context. You can have conversations with it while doing tasks as it is driven by a vast language model of generative AI.

Any other smart home hub available on the market can accomplish all of that, though. Its mobility is what sets LG's AI agent apart from the others. In addition to keeping an eye out for open windows and unattended lights while you're away, the robot can watch your pet.

Moreover, it can notify you when to contact for help in an emergency and take your prescription. In addition, it can recognise your mood from speech and face analysis and is programmed to welcome you at the door when you get home.
