Virtual Reality (VR)

VR creates an immersive illusion that the user is somewhere else using specialised technology and software, such as a VR headset or helmet. Sight, sound, and, in certain situations, touch can all be included in virtual reality. In certain studies, smell has even been incorporated.
The most sophisticated VR systems should stimulate all five senses, but the most basic ones should only be sound and visual.

Key differences between AR and VR

• Virtual reality requires a headgear device, however, augmented reality does not require one.
• Users of AR technology interact with virtual things that are closer to them while remaining in contact with the actual world; users of VR technology, on the other hand, become fully immersed in a fully virtualized world and are cut off from the outside world.
