Artifact: Elon Musk's X is up against Artifact, another rival in town. The news aggregator app from the co-founder of Instagram is, in fact, evolving into a kind of social media platform by adding a new function that allows users to create posts. Read on to learn more.

Artifact's new feature

Artifact announced the new feature on Medium, “Posts builds on the recent launch of Links, and allows anyone to share thoughts, reviews, ideas or anything they find useful into the feed of content from the community. Posts, along with Links, expand what’s possible to discover, share, and create on Artifact."

With this new feature, users will be able to post their own content straight to the platform without needing to provide a link.

How to use it?

The latest versions of the Android and iOS apps now support the feature. Users only need to hit the "+" icon in the Links tab's top right corner to begin using the new feature. You can then add your own images, titles, and text.

This new function is anticipated to improve Artifact's user experience by enabling the development of more personalised and interactive content and boosting the app's competitiveness in the social media space.
