The victim disclosed that he was required to pay a pre-arranged amount of Rs. 1,500 before beginning the assignment. But after finishing the first work, he was paid the amount back and given an extra reward of Rs 400. He was paid Rs 1,900 in total, which included the cost of his pre-paid fee as well as the additional income. After making his second payment of Rs 2,050, Chauhan signed up for bigger jobs, but he never received a single rupee in return.

The victim was then presented with more activities that provided better pay after completing some video-liking tasks. They pushed me to take on bigger projects and even set up a website for their business where they listed the tasks I had performed and updated my payment information, the victim added.

The victim accepted the duties, was added as a member of more related Telegram groups, and thought it was real in the hopes of making more money. He ultimately paid about Rs 30 lakh for all of the activities in order to get additional work. He did not, however, get any money into his bank account.

When the victim attempted to withdraw the funds, the con artists stopped his account. The victim then filed a complaint at the police station after realising he had been duped.
