Maruti, the largest automaker in India is all set to launch its first electric car in India in 2024. The carmaker has confirmed that it will start the mass production of the eVX electric car. The upcoming electric SUV was earlier unveiled at the Auto Expo held in Greater Noida and the Japan Auto Show held in October 2023. Along with foraying into India in the demanding electric segment, the automaker also has plans to launch new models of its small cars in India. Maruti eVX Details

Maruti Suzuki will manufacture at its Gujarat facility scheduled to start by the next year. Maruti Suzuki will be one of the pioneer brands to launch an electric vehicle in the sub-compact SUV segment as the upcoming eVX measures 4 metres in length. Talking about the dimensions, the vehicle measures 4300mm in length, 1800mm in width and 1600mm in height. The upcoming eVX will come equipped with 60 kWh lithium-ion which is claimed to provide 550 km of range in a solitary charge. 

Maruti Dzire Facelift

Maruti Dzire is a popular sub-compact sedan in the carmaker’s portfolio. The ever-demanding sedan has no facelift model yet. The automaker is expected to launch the facelifted Swift Dzire in India soon as its rivals such as the Hyundai Aura and Honda Amaze have been updated with the necessary and more contemporary design elements. Despite not getting any major updates from the last nine years, the sedan is still one of the best-selling sedans in India. However, the Maruti has not officially announced the launch of the Dzire Facelift. It is expected that it will be awarded with a facelift model.

Maruti Suzuki Swift 

The Japanese partner of Maruti, Suzuki recently launched the upgraded model of Swift hatchback in its home country. The same sedan is expected to make its Indian debut in the coming months. The new upgrades Swift hatchback features a new pair of LED tail lamps and headlamps and seems to have derived some interior design elements from the Baleno.
