Gensol gets ARAI certification for a 2-seater electric car, Details

Gensol: The Automotive Research Association of India has certified and approved Gensol Electric Vehicles (GEVPL), a new-age electric vehicle firm that is a subsidiary of Gensol Engineering. The vehicle is a 2-door, 2-seater electric vehicle (ARAI). This, it claims, will open the way for the EVs’ formal release and distribution in the Indian market.

With a 30,000-unit yearly manufacturing capacity, the electric car will be produced at the company’s Chakan plant near Pune.

With features like a moonroof, plenty of boot space, in-cabin driver assistance technology, a complete technology stack, AI-driven cloud analytics, and a remarkably intuitive user experience, the compact 2-door, 2-seater electric vehicle is unlike any other EV sold available in the Indian market.
