Four of these maliciously infused fraud apps have been banned by Google, warning all Android users to immediately delete them from their gadgets. These apps were first discovered by Malwarebytes security specialists, who then brought them to Google’s attention.

Who launched these apps

The Mobile Apps Group launched and made all of these fraudulent apps available to users.

Google has named these apps

The Mobile Apps Group released the “Bluetooth Auto Connect” app in October 2020, and it received millions of downloads. The same group has released some additional dubious applications, such as Bluetooth App Sender, Mobile transfer: smart switch, and Driver: Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB. The Mobile apps group managed to get past the safety gates despite the Android platforms having strict security requirements since the developer took their time infusing dangerous software.

Users of these programs experience no harm during their initial phases of use, but as you continue using them, you will encounter phishing websites. Although these fraud portals first didn’t seem to be anything users needed to be concerned about, the portals eventually turned dangerous.
