According to the leaked video, Google will eventually give the Pixel 8 camera app access to some level of Pro features. Every other manufacturer of smartphones has a Pro mode, therefore it ought to be available for those who want a little more control.
The controls for ISO, shutter speed, and focus are included in that Pro mode, along with what appears to be a reset button that will send you back to the beginning if you mess up the controls and significantly spoil your photo.
