MWC 2024: Honor recently launched its Honor Magic 6 and Honor Magic V2 Series in the global market at the ongoing 2024 MWC event in Barcelona. The all-new Honor Magic 6 series comprises two smartphones- Honor Magic 6 and Honor Magic Pro. On the other hand, the V2 Series also includes two devices- Honor Magic V2 and Honor Maic V2 RSR foldable smartphones.
Earlier in January, the Honor Magic 6 series was launched in the Chinese market. The new series operates on MagicOS 8.0 skin based on Android 14. On the other hand, the Honor Magic V2 series runs on MagicOS 7.2 based on Android 13.
Honor Magic 6 and Honor Magic 6 Pro Specs
Both Honor Magic 6 and Honor Magic 6 Pro feature a 6.78-inch full HD+ OLED panel supporting a high refresh rate of 120 Hz which can be lowered to 1 Hz. Both devices come equipped with a powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor which comes coupled with 16GB RAM and up to 1TB storage.
The Honor Magic 6 Pro gets a triple rear camera setup incorporating a 180MP 2.5x periscope telephoto camera with OIS and 100x digital zoom. For selfies and video calls, the device features a 50MP wide-angle camera and a 3D depth sensor.
On the other hand, the Honor Magic 6 also features a triple camera setup with a primary 50MP OS camera, a 32MP telephoto camera and a 50MP ultra-wide angle autofocus camera. On the front, the device boasts a 50MP wide-angle camera for selfies and video calls.
Honor Magic 6 gets a 5450 mAh battery which supports 66W wired and 50W wireless charging. Meanwhile, the Honor Magic 6 Pro comes equipped with a 5600 mAh battery supporting 80W wired and 66W wireless charging.
Honor Magic V2 and Honor Magic V2 RSR Specs
Both Honor Magic V2 and Honor Magic V2 RSR feature a 6.43-inch OLED cover display and a 7.92-inch inner OLED panel, both support a 120 Hz refresh rate. Both clamshell smartphones support comes powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor which comes coupled with 16GB RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage.
The V2 series also gets a triple rear camera setup which incorporates a 50MP primary sensor, 50MP ultrawide angle and a 20MP telephoto lens. On the front, the V2 series features a 16MP selfie camera. Additionally, both devices come powered by a 5000 mAh battery which supports 66W wired charging.
Honor Magic 6 Pro and Honor Magic V2 RSR Price
The Honor Magic 6 Pro is priced at 1299 Euros (nearly Rs. 1.16 lakh) for the 12GB RAM AND 512 GB storage configuration. On the other hand, the Honor Magic V2 RSR is priced at Euro 2699 (nearly Rs. 2.42 lakh) for the 16GB RAM and 1TB storage configuration.
