In a first, Apple is all set to launch its much-anticipated Apple Store Online in India on September 23. The online store, just like Apple store locations, will provide Apple’s full range of products and direct support to customers across the country.
The products purchased via Apple Store Online will be delivered by online who are ready to provide any necessary guidance to the customers.
“We’re proud to be expanding in India and want to do all we can to support our customers and their communities,” said Deirdre O’Brien, Apple’s senior vice president of Retail + People. “We know our users are relying on technology to stay connected, engage in learning, and tap into their creativity, and by bringing the Apple Store online to India, we are offering our customers the very best of Apple at this important time.”
Apple’s move comes ahead of festive season in India which will definitely benefit the brand across the country. The company has brought in various offers such as signature gift wrap and personalized engraving in multiple languages to tempt the customers.
For logistics support, Apple has partnered with delivery service Blue Dart for the convenient delivery of its products. Considering the pandemic situation, the delivery executive will follow contact less delivery. Products which do not require signature will be left at customer’s doors while products which require signature will instead be delivered with verbal authorization.
The Apple India Store is the 38th online store worldwide and will offer Apple Specialists services to help with custom-configuring any Mac along with setting up new devices. Customers will directly get assistance both in Hindi and English.
Apple has emerged as a leading investor in India over the past few years, providing 90,000 jobs across the country. With the opening of Apple Online Store, the company will surely be able to expand its market among Indian customers.
