India Mobile Congress 2023: A major technological advance for India was disclosed by Sunil Bharti Mittal, Chairman of Bharti Enterprises and the man behind Bharti Airtel, during his speech at the 7th India Mobile Congress.

In addition to linking rural and isolated places with the aid of the Universal Services Obligation Fund, he stated that satellite technology now makes it possible to connect the entire nation. “OneWeb constellation is ready to serve the globe and is ready to serve the country. Anybody, anywhere in the country, in remote parts or in difficult areas, wherever they are located can be connected from next month,” Mittal said.

With the help of satellite communication technology, India's digital gap might be closed, allowing for the connection of even the most remote areas, promoting economic growth, and revolutionising communication inside the country.
