Instagram Starts Testing A New Feature; Users May Get A Chance To Add Lyrics in Reels, details

After the takeover of Instagram by Meta, the company regularly adds a new update or feature to make the social media platform better. Although, company's developers being currently busy in working on huge functionalities for its new Threads App, the updates for instagram are also in the pipeline. Recently, it was announced by the company that the users will now be able to add a group of people in their stories with a single mention, once they create the mention. Now, the company has decided to add up some creativity to the reels of creators, for this purpose, the company has started testing a new feature that will allow user to add lyrics in their reels automatically, as it is currently available for instagram stories.

Instagram Head Adam Mosseri posted in his instagram broadcast, “Another music-related feature we're testing: we previously mentioned we're testing the ability to add lyrics to your Reels - just like you can in Stories. We're now bringing that test to more countries, and are excited to see how people get creative with music on Reels. If you start seeing this feature, let us know what you think”.

New Feature Will Let Users To Add Lyrics in Reels

This new instagram feature will automatically add lyrics to the reels of creators, it will work by automatically picking up the lyrics of the same song that iis added in the reel by the creator, it is no way different from instagram stories. Users will be able to access editing tools to change the apperance of the lyrics which also includes the size and font style of the lyrics text, style of appearance and many more.
