Mumbai and Mumbakars buzzed with excitement today (September 19) as hundreds of Apple fans lined up outside the company’s flagship store at Bandra Kurla Complex. They were eager to get their hands on the newly launched iPhone 17 series. Many arrived hours before the store opened, some even in the early pre-dawn hours.
The atmosphere outside the store was electric. Shoppers waited patiently to be among the first to own Apple’s latest device. One of the earliest customers told news agency PTI, “I was standing in the queue since 3 am. I have come here from Jogeshwari. I was very excited… waiting for this phone since last six months.”

The excitement was not just in Mumbai. Delhi’s Saket store also drew large crowds early in the morning. Irfan (a buyer interviewed by ANI) shared, “I’ve come to buy the orange iPhone 17 PRO Max. I’ve been waiting since 8 pm…. This time, there are changes to the camera and battery, and the look is also different.”

Apple’s iPhone 17 series, which was unveiled at the September 9 event, is priced between Rs 82,900 and Rs 2,29,900. Customers could buy the devices starting September 19, whether they had pre-booked or were walk-in buyers. The series includes the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and iPhone Air. The new devices feature improved designs, upgraded cameras, and better battery performance, attracting tech enthusiasts across the country.
To make the launch more appealing, Apple and its retail partners have introduced several offers. Buyers can avail cashback, exchange bonuses, and long-term EMI options. Those upgrading from older iPhone models also have access to bundled deals on accessories and Apple wearables.
