Matter Aera Electric bike bookings to commence from May 17, will offer 125kms of range, all you should know before you book

Matter Aera: As of May 17th, Matter will begin taking reservations for its first electric bike, the Aera. Customers can reserve this bike via the company's website and Flipkart. Reservations for electric bikes through Matter Aera are about to start in 25 locations.

Matter Aera key specifications

A 10.5kW liquid-cooled, mid-mounted, IP65-rated motor with a claimed 520Nm of torque powers the Matter Aera 5000. A 5kWh liquid-cooled battery pack is provided for the electric motorcycle. Depending on the model, it boasts a range between 125 and 150 kilometres. It includes a typical onboard 1kW charger and will enable both normal and rapid charging via a standard socket. A typical bedroom's five-amp, three-pin outlet can also be used for charging. It charges in less than five hours when using the onboard charger.

Features

The Matter Aera 5000 is crammed full of features, including a nine-axis IMU, a seven-inch LCD touchscreen with onboard navigation, keyless entry, and 4G connectivity. A dual-purpose LED projector and LED illumination are installed throughout the bike. Accident detection and auto-reply to calls while riding are only two examples of the extensive connectivity functions that are accessible. With the use of a specialist smartphone app, the owner may monitor statistics such as charge level, location, and ride analysis.

Price and booking

The Matter Aera is priced at Rs. 1.44 lakh for the 5000 model and Rs. 1.54 lakh for the 5000+ option. This pricing includes Fame 2 which is an ex-showroom throughout India.

The Matter Aera Electric Bike is soon to be available for reservation in cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, and Hyderabad. Two versions of The Matter Aera will be released: 5000 and 5000+. This will be the first electric bike to be introduced in the nation with a gearbox.
