Mediatek 6100+ processor: Mediatek has launched Dimensiity 6100+ processor which is mainly designed to be used in budget segment 5G smartphones. Chipset manufacturer Mediatek has recently launched its 6000 series chipsets with a processor made for budget 5G smartphones.
Mediatek Dimensity 6100+ Soc comes with improved power, battery efficiency, improved display colors, AI powered camera technologies, high Frame rates and Sub-6 5G connectivity. Improved AI in this chipset lowers the overall battery consumption.
Presently, all the smartphone manufacturing companies are heading towards a transition from manufacturing 4G smartphones to developing 5G Smartphones at a rapid pace to make their presence in the 5G segment of the smartphones. In this case, developing 5G chips for budget segment smartphones is vital need indeed, Dimensity 6100+ is expected to play a vital role in this scenario.
Dimensity 6100+ offers an exceptional 5G modem which supports 3GPP Release 16 standard with up to 140MHz 2CC 5G Carrier Aggregation which is aimed to signifiicanty reduce power consumption, thanks to Mediatek UltraSave 3.0+ technology.
This Chip comes with two ARM Cortex- A76 big cores and six Arm Cortex-A55 efficiency cores which contributes in improved AI performance, exceptional UX and GPU performance.
