Motorola Edge 70 Fusion Review: Does the 7000mAh Battery Make It the King of Mid-Rangers?

The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion impresses with a 7000mAh battery, excellent display, balanced Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 performance and solid camera hardware. It sets a new benchmark in the mid-range category for endurance and overall value.

Moto Edge 70 Fusion: The Motorola Edge 70 series gets an exciting new addition with the Edge 70 Fusion, a smartphone that turns heads mainly for one standout feature — a massive 7000mAh battery in the mid-range segment. Launched ahead of its Indian debut, this device promises long hours of use and performance upgrades that could challenge rivals in its class.

Battery Life That Breaks Tradition

The headline feature of the Edge 70 Fusion is right there in the spec sheet — a huge 7000mAh silicon-carbon battery paired with 68W TurboPower fast charging. Motorola claims the device can deliver up to 52 hours of typical usage, helping it stand out in an era where most mid-range smartphones settle around 5000–5200mAh capacities.

In practical terms, users can expect multi-day endurance under normal use — from social media and videos to occasional gaming — without hunting for a charger by evening. Fast charging also ensures that even such a large cell can be topped up relatively quickly.

Display and Build: Premium Look Without the Premium Price

The phone sports a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and peak brightness around 5200 nits, making it vibrant and smooth for daily use, gaming and media consumption.

Design-wise, it keeps a slim profile despite the large battery, and its quad-curved edges and Pantone-curated finish give it an elevated feel in hand.

Performance and Cameras: Balanced Mid-Range Power

Under the hood, the Edge 70 Fusion runs on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset (in India), supported by up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. This configuration offers solid multitasking and daily performance.

The camera setup features a 50MP Sony primary sensor with optical image stabilisation, a 13MP ultra-wide lens and a 32MP selfie camera, all capable of 4K video recording — competitive imaging for its price bracket.
