Nepal Police’s warning for online scam
As people have now started offering money for the injured to help them, Nepal Police have missed an advisory to beware of online scams and fake organisations accepting aid.
They wrote, “When providing financial or other assistance to earthquake victims through the Internet or other means, please make sure that the persons or organisations asking for assistance are official or not. Please beware of internet scammers or exploiters.”
