Sales details

Since its March 2017 release, the Nintendo Switch has sold over 125 million copies globally, but Toto pointed out that hardware sales have slowed down.

According to Nintendo's financial report for the fiscal year that ended March 31, 2023, hardware sales decreased 22.1 per cent from the prior year to just under 18 million units. Nintendo anticipates selling 15 million consoles by March 2024, which would indicate a further decline this year.
