Nokia G42 5G: Nokia, the legendary brand, is all set to launch a new mid-segment smartphone in the Indian market. Although the corporation did not disclose its name or features. It was rumoured that HMD Global-owned Nokia could create the next X-series model. However, the manufacturer has now officially stated that its upcoming 5G phone will be in the G line. Nokia's most recent 5G smartphone will be the Nokia G42 5G, which will be released on September 11. In this article, we will tell you all about this amazing upcoming smartphone.

Nokia G42 5G rumoured specs

The Nokia G42 5G, according to the microsite, has a 6.56-inch waterdrop notch display with HD+ quality and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. It includes a loudspeaker powered by OZO Playback.

It sports a front-facing 8-megapixel camera and a back-facing 50-megapixel main camera. A macro camera and a depth sensor join the primary camera. The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 480 Plus CPU and can support up to 11 GB of RAM (including virtual RAM).
The Nokia G42 5G will receive two years of Android OS updates and three years of security patches. 

When it comes to the processor, it will use the Snapdragon 480 Plus. The phone will be available in two colour options: Purple and So Grey. The phone features a 5000mAh battery and 20W fast charging capabilities. It may also include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Expected Price in India

The Nokia G42 5G is expected to cost Rs 20,990 in India when it launches. The actual price of the smartphone will be revealed at the launch.
