What’s new in the Nothing Ear 2

Active noise cancellation (ANC) of up to 40dB, Bluetooth 5.3 for connectivity, and compatibility with the new LHDC 5.0 codec are just a few of the improvements these truly wireless stereos (TWS) earbuds have over the Ear 1 from a year ago. The transparent earphones are IP54 rated for water and sweat resistance and include a transparent casing.

Specifications

Although Nothing is changing its size from 11.6mm, the Ear 2s comes with unique drivers. In contrast, the 12.6mm drivers used in the Ear Sticks, also have a custom configuration. In the current generation of Earphones, nothing promises to provide superior bass. Moreover, the LHDC codec, which is compatible with Bluetooth 5.3, is supported by these earbuds, enabling high-resolution (Hi-Res) audio streaming. Also, you will be able to connect them to two different devices at once, such as a phone and a laptop, and have them switch between each other automatically.

The case has an IP55 rating for resistance to water and dust, while the earpieces have an IP54 rating for both.

The Ear 2s may last up to 36 hours in their case without ANC and 6.3 hours while listening to music (this drops to 4 and 22.5 hours with ANC on). Compatible devices like the Phone 1, fast charging, Qi wireless charging (up to 2.5W), and reverse charging are all supported. The They Ear 1s have 5.7 hours of listening time and up to 34 hours when the case is closed and the ANC is turned off (this drops to 4 and 24 hours with ANC on).
