Nothing Phone (1): Will the new update make this phone’s camera even better? Find out all about this version

Nothing Phone (1): Recently, Nothing launched Nothing OS 1.1.4 for the Phone (1), which included a number of new features, bug fixes, and modifications. To follow up on the Nothing OS 1.1.4 update, the business has hurriedly produced yet another minor update.

The latest version doesn’t appear to add any new functionality to the phone and has the same changelog as the previous upgrade. Considering that it is just approximately 30MB in size, we didn’t have high hopes for it. However, Nothing has since announced via its Twitter account that the update includes a number of internal tweaks that will improve the phone’s camera performance.

A new motion recognition algorithm, faster shooting speeds when utilising the HDR setting on the ultrawide camera, and improved colour fidelity in Night Mode photos are just a few of the recent improvements to the phone’s camera capabilities. Additionally, according to the manufacturer, the upgrade will result in brighter, better portrait photos taken with the front camera.

Besides this, the upgrade doesn’t really improve upon the Nothing OS 1.1.4 release from last week. The September Android security patch, support for LHDC HD audio, the option to flip the position of the 3-button navigation bar, enhanced facial recognition, increased thermal efficiency, along with numerous bug fixes, are all included in this update.

After a price increase last month, the Nothing Phone (1) is now available for purchase. The 8GB/128GB variant costs Rs 29,999, the 8GB/256GB variant costs Rs 32,999, while the 12GB/256GB variant costs Rs 35,999.
