OnePlus teases a new smartpone, likely to be a red variant of 11R, All we know

OnePlus: A new red smartphone from OnePlus has been hinted at for India. The item is on its way, according to the teaser, which was found on an Amazon microsite. If this is a new phone or a different colour for an old model, OnePlus hasn't said. The latter option appears more likely. We expected it to be a new red variant of the OnePlus 11R.

OnePlus to launch a Red smartphone soon

The teaser, which was found on Amazon, suggests that the product would be available soon. With "R3" written on the teaser along with "18" and "512," it has been assumed that OnePlus refers to the OnePlus 11R, which will have 512GB of storage and 18GB of RAM.

This rumour has been strengthened by the recent sale in China of a new Red Vegan Leather edition of the OnePlus Ace 2, which is effectively the OnePlus 11R for the worldwide market. It makes sense for OnePlus to make this additional colour option available in India as well.

In a statement about the new colour, OnePlus said, "It’s not merely a color, but an emotion rooted deeply within OnePlus. It symbolises the exhilaration one feels holding a OnePlus gadget and stands as a persistent call to 'Never Settle' for mediocrity."
