Display details
Both watches have high-resolution displays with vibrant colours. With a maximum brightness of up to 2000 nits, the Apple Watch Series 9 outshines the Pixel Watch 2, which can only reach 1000 nits. The Series 9 performs better in extremely strong sunshine, even if the difference might not be a big issue in typical lighting situations.
Design
The Apple Watch Series 9 maintains its rectangular appearance, whereas the Pixel Watch 2 has an attractive circular design. The circular design may be more aesthetically pleasing to some people. It is important to remember that Apple is allegedly developing a revamp for the Apple Watch Series 10.
Verdict
There is a pretty clear bias here in terms of which phone you should purchase based on the type of phone you currently own. The Apple Watch is a sensible option if you own an iPhone. To make the most of the Pixel Watch 2’s feature set, owners of Android devices should avoid Cupertino’s attempts and purchase one.
