PNB WhatsApp Banking: State-owned Punjab National Bank said on Monday that it has provided banking services over WhatsApp for both clients and non-customers to make banking services more accessible.
Including holidays, the WhatsApp banking service will be accessible 24 hours on both iOS and Android-based mobile devices.
How to activate PNB WhatsApp services?
Customers must first save the PNB’s official WhatsApp number +91-9264092640 on their phones in order to enable the PNB banking facilities on WhatsApp. Once the number has been saved, they must visit WhatsApp and look it up. The user should refresh his WhatsApp contacts if the number is not reflected.
Once the contact is visible, press it to send the number a hello or Hi message. To make sure they save the proper number, users were advised by the bank to look for the “green tick” next to PNB’s profile name on WhatsApp, which verifies that the number is a legitimate WhatsApp banking account.
PNB account users may use WhatsApp banking to access certain basic services, such as checking their balance, viewing their latest five transactions in a mini-statement format, stopping a cheque, and obtaining a new chequebook.

Other important services offered to account and non-account holders include online account opening, information on a loan, bank deposit, NRI services, branch/atm location, opt-in, and opt-out choices.
