Redmi A3: Xiaomi has released its latest low-cost smartphone in the “A series,” the Redmi A3, in India. With a refresh rate of 90 Hz, the phone maintains the Octa-Core Helio G36 processor and has a bigger 6.71′′ HD+ LCD screen with up to 6GB of RAM, including up to 6GB of virtual RAM. Redmi A3 specs
The Redmi A3 is equipped with an octa-core MediaTek Helio G36 CPU, up to 128GB of eMMC 5.1 storage (expandable to 1TB via the dedicated microSD card slot), and up to 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM. The smartphone runs on the unique MIUI 14 skin developed by the firm, which is based on the Android 13 operating system.
The Redmi A3 has a 6.7-inch HD+ LCD screen with a refresh rate of 90 Hz and a resolution of 1650 x 720 pixels. The front-facing camera of the low-cost smartphone is housed in a waterdrop-shaped notch, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection is placed on top.
The smartphone has a 5,000 mAh battery that can be quickly charged using the 10W charger that comes in the box with it. The Redmi A3 has two 4G SIM card slots, a 3.5 mm headphone connector, a USB type C port, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.3, GNSS, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Price in India
For the Redmi A3, the 3GB + 64GB model costs Rs. 7,299, the 4GB + 128GB model costs Rs. 8,299, and the most expensive variant costs Rs. 9,299 for 6GB + 128GB.
